Prescott’s Landscape Professionals

I was born at our very own Yavapai Regional Medical Center, where my grandma was working at the time, and have lived in Prescott my whole life. I plan on being buried here. Some of my fondest memories were of playing baseball, from tee-ball all the way through high school. I graduated in the top 5% of my class from Bradshaw Mountain High School in 1999.

In 1988, my dad started his landscaping business, Tri County Landscape. Dad oftentimes worked sun up to sun down supporting our family and making the business work. Back in those days, we had this thing called an answering machine, and he would end each day by coming home, taking a shower, and sitting down at his desk and returning phone calls.

This probably won’t surprise you…as I got older, I no longer enjoyed “summer vacation.” While my neighborhood friends were playing games and going to swimming pools, I was mowing lawns, trimming trees and rose bushes, and so forth. Dad taught me many things during the time I worked with him, and without a doubt the most important was “treat people the way you want to be treated.” Back then that thought went over my head, but now I understand exactly what he meant.

I always swore that, once I had a say in the matter, I was going to do ANYTHING but landscaping. Once I graduated high school I took a warehouse job in Prescott Valley. It took me 2 weeks to give my boss my 2 weeks’ notice. Being outdoors and having a daily change of scenery wasn’t so bad, after all. I’ve been landscaping ever since. After 10 years full time in dad’s business, I started out on my own, and have continued learning and growing since then. There is always more to learn, no matter how much experience I may already have.

In 2005 I married my beautiful wife and my best friend, Rachel. Our 4 kids are our pride and joy, and I am so excited to see where life takes them.
